Our Annual Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner

We are happy that our foster parents had a great time at the Annual Foster Parent Appreciation Dinner. There were fun games, prizes, and raffles. Some of our parents received longevity awards and gift cards as well. We look forward to next year’s event. Stay tuned, we will be announcing an upcoming event for the Summer/Fall season as well.

The foster parent training for tomorrow (July 12, 2018) has been cancelled. We will keep you posted on the new date. Please keep checking back!

Compliance Rewards

Several of our families are in the running for Compliance Reward gifts including the $25 gift card and our grand prize! Make sure that you remain compliant with parent and child items and come to training whenever possible.

You can earn up to 3 tickets per month. This means that most families can earn a maximum of 9 tickets, dramatically increasing their odds.

What's New?

Recently, we were able to reunite two brothers in Harford County, MD.

We have two new foster children which we placed in loving foster homes. We are looking forward to hearing about the new memories that will be created and new relationships that will be developed between these children and their foster families.

One of our foster children recently embarked on a new journey by attending college. We wish her success as she continues her studies and are excited to see the wonderful milestones that she and our other foster children will experience.

Announcements

On Thursday September 14^th, we had our first foster parent training of the fiscal year. It was an engaging presentation on sex trafficking by Araminta. We learned several things including the difference between prostitution and trafficking. 

As always, we received great feedback from our foster parents. We are looking forward to next month’s presentation by Kennedy Krieger!

We had a very successful picnic on the last Friday in August. A good time was had by all. There was plenty of food, games, and activities and we are looking forward to our next event. We have great things in store for our foster families!

We would like to wish everyone a happy new school year! What is great about beginning a new school year is that everything essentially starts anew. You will gain new friends, new teachers, new experiences, and new knowledge. We know that you will do very well.
